We’re committed to the people and places that make up Greater Manchester.

We champion local people doing extraordinary things together.

A commitment to make stronger, happier communities.

This is Forever Manchester

Forever Manchester is the only charity that raises money to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester. They fund and support over 1,300 community projects each year, such as mental health support groups, disability groups, junior football teams, food banks, refugee support networks, and knit & natter groups.

How we're supporting

We have pledged £100,000 to the Manchester Building Society Community Fund between 2025 and 2027. The fund supports employability projects and initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, as well as wider community groups across Greater Manchester’s ten boroughs.

In it's first year the Manchester Building Society Community Fund made £30,000 in grants supporting projects that focus on employability. This has empowered Forever Manchester to give small grants to local community groups across Greater Manchester.

Applications are judged by a panel of Forever Manchester funding specialists and Manchester Building Society community ambassadors.
