Points to note

*AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added to the account once each year. The gross rate is the contractual rate of interest payable before the deduction of income tax. Interest is paid tax free on ISAs which means that it is exempt from income tax.
